This year's conference and production is designed to be the best yet.  This year's planning team has has amassed over 10,000 sq. ft. of space at the Marriott BWI (just minutes from Baltimore, MD) to be filled education and tools in variety of ways.  This year we are facilitating small group training rooms so that each attendee is able to not only learn but ask questions with speakers and coaches that are experts within their field.

While our focus is to provide continuing education to professional photographers & videographers, The Peculiar Conference is open to anyone interested in photography & videography, including amateurs, enthusiasts, educators, industry professionals and students.

How long do the conference days last?
Each conference day lasts from ~8AM - 7PM.

Are hotel accommodations provided by the Peculiar Conference?
Yes, we have a room block for this year's conference at the Marriott BWI which is the closest hotel to BWI airport.

How much is the hotel room rate?
Our negotiated hotel room rate is $135 per night (excluding taxes and fees) for registered attendees. 

Does the registration fee include the hotel stay?
No, the registration does not include your hotel. 

What about parking?
Parking is available at the hotel.

What are the transportation options?
Both the conference venue & hotel are about less than10 minutes away (driving distance) from BWI Airport. You can catch the shuttle directly from the airport to the hotel or catch an Uber/Lyft/Cab from the airport. 

Can I bring my camera and equipment to the conference?
Absolutely, you should! We encourage attendees to bring their cameras, laptops and equipment to fully engage in the conference activities. However, please be mindful of others and follow any rules.
