Boudoir Shooting & Posing: Set the Scene & Get the Shot
A two-hour hands-on session covering the full on-set side of a boudoir shoot. Learn how to build mood, create a safe and empowering environment for clients, and shoot with intention. The second hour focuses on posing technique, covering what works for every body type, how to guide clients who feel nervous in front of the camera, and building a repeatable posing toolkit you can use on every shoot.

Boudoir Editing: Skin, Tone & Finishing
Mini-workshop is sold separately. A hands-on editing walkthrough where Brianne demos her signature editing style. Capped as a small group to stay intimate.

Shooting Portraits on Film: Slowing Down To See More
This session is about discipline, intention, and what happens to your eye when you remove the safety net of shooting digital. Working with analog gear inside Iron Ore Studio, you will learn how to meter for film, work with natural light in raw spaces, and direct portrait subjects with confidence when every frame counts.

Painting with Flash: Gels, Color and Canvas
This interactive demo will explore how to use flash and color gels to completely transform a simple canvas backdrop. It’ll walk through how to control light, layer color, and create bold portraits that feel intentional instead of random.

Connection Over Poses: Directing People With Confidence
In this session, photographer and professional model Nikki Lister explores how connection transforms portrait photography. Rather than focusing on complicated posing techniques, Nikki teaches photographers how to break through awkwardness, communicate clearly with their subjects, and give simple, effective direction that builds confidence. Drawing from years of experience on both sides of the camera, this talk focuses on building trust, simplifying communication, and creating natural moments that lead to stronger images.

Rusty is a portrait and boudoir photographer with a mission is to provide every client a place to embrace their personality and help boost their confidence. Rusty is the co-owner of Iron Ore Studio. Rusty built this space with photographers in mind, leveraging every inch of the building, from natural light to dramatic setups. Check out his work on IG @ironorestudio

Sophia Williams is a NYC based photographer who turned a passion for photography into a full creative enterprise. She owns two of NYC's go-to studios, Light Studio NYC and Light Studio NYC2, from the ground up. Can I sign up for multiple classes?
Yes — and we encourage it. Since many classes run at the same time, plan ahead. Each class has its own sign-up. Brianne's three classes also have a $199 bundle option.
What is the Brianne bundle?
Sign up for both of Brianne's classes — Shooting & Posing, and Editing — for $249 instead of $299 individually. Note: the Editing class is capped at 10 participants so sign up early.
What should I bring?
Your camera body and lenses. If attending Brianne's Editing class, bring your laptop with your editing software ready to go. Business cards are always a good idea at a Peculiar event.
Is the photowalk separate?
No — the community photowalk at the end of the day is included with any class registration at no extra cost.
When will Rusty's classes and the TBA sessions be announced?
